I finally got sick of trying to get all of the reddis parts out and dyed over it and got this.
I wanted dark. The Punky color was great, right after it had been dyed. It tended to fade to a clear ocean color, thus the name Atlantic Blue, I guess.
To keep it this dark, I had to dye it every two weeks or so. And it ran. Everywhere. All the time. Plus when hair fell out and landed somewhere, the blue leached out. There was blue *everywhere*. All over my bathroom, the collars of my shirts, my hands *all the time*, my phone at work, blue fingerprints on the door to the kitchen, curls of blue on the kitchen floor where stray hairs had landed. Just *everywhere*.
It was fun.
This was probably early 1998.
