Day hikes in the Bay Area
Hiking is one of my favorite activities, within the limits of what my bad (and aging) knees will do. The greater San Francisco Bay Area is replete with terrific places for hiking, and even though I've been here almost 2 years now, I still have a lot to explore.
So far, my favorite day hike is on the East Bay Skyline Trail from Sibley Volcanic Preserve to Redwoods Regional Park and back. I am completely enchanted with the whole East Bay regional park system, and have a vague goal of eventually walking the entire East Bay Skyline Trail (not all at once, I hasten to add!).
