New window load & netscape.ini access

Hello everybody,

I have 2 questions:

1) After the opening of a new window with

        newWindow = open(url, windowname)

how can the script know when the page url is completely loaded in the new
window (new window red light goes off)? 

2) With beta5 javascript: is it possible access (modify?) values in
netscape.ini (options menu, preferences, etc.)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
