got in ok, no worries

The flight was long and packed full, but I slept through most of it, so no problems. IT's pretty warm here, and will only get warmer as the summer continues. Just got a quick lunch (it's a little after noon over here). Not much food in the house, and I'm not sure when that will be remedied, as my dad will be busy with this congressional delegation that decided to show up here early, thereby cutting his (and my) time in Fairfax short.
Have yet to meet Rosie either, as she is still at the kennel, but we should pick her up tomorrow morning. Looking forward to having a dog around again! At least that way I'll have some company while my father's at work and I'm home. Oh well, I'll survive (at least until my mom gets here on Thursday, anyway). I have a good week until I start work still, so I should be adjusted to the new time zone by then.
More later, I need to go unpack. Or sleep. Whichever happens first.
