yay, christmas!

got all sorts of neat stuff. Some movies, a couple Neil Gaimen books, the newst Redwall book, a sweater (from Grandma.. big surprise) and a really neat piece of jewelery from my folks. I'll post pics once I get back to school. If I remember.

yay for vacations!

I've ben sleping. A lot. And staying with my grandmother in Bethesda. Should be in Fairfax sometime soon, staying with Adam. Got new shoes, boots, and a new cell phone (same #, though) today. Feel better than I did a week ago. Much better.
Gonna go see a chiroprachtor tomorrow, which is about 10 years later than I shoud have. Better late than never though.
Anyway... Fairfax people, gimmie a call, and we can figure something out. I wanna see you all.

oh joy!

I need a new cellular phone! My current one nw has a broken casing, and while I couldn't care less about that appearance-wose, this means my battery no longer stays in place. Its held together with electrical tape for now, but hopefully I can get a new phone and keep my number. Transferring all the information and stuff will just be a pain if/when I have to do it

snow!

We finally got some real snow. I told people this would happen. No snow for months, then all of it hits at once. I actually wore those big snowboots my mom got me when I went to college today, because my black leather boots are falling apart and have holes in them so my feet get wet. But yes-- snow. I like the snow. I'm going to build a snowman once I'm done with exams.

Finals

well, I'm 4/10ths of the way through my paper for Far Eastern Art. It's not nearly as far as I'd like to be, but I'm having trouble motivating myself. As usual. Oh well. At least it's a topic I'm interested in, instead of the six page paper on Paradise Lost due Tuesday, or the 1500 word article on I-don't-know-what-yet for Journalism that's due on Wed.

gaaah! FInals!

okay.. got my poetry portfolio in. Feel good about it. NOw for the 10 page paper due Mon, the 6 page paper due Tues, and the 1500 word article due Wed for NEws Writing.
On the + side, I saw Mom today. She seems to be enjoying not working for now and having some time to herself and all that. AM looking forward to going over to Isreal with my parents for a couple weeks. Not looking forward to the travel, though. I need to relax this vacation, and flying isn't my idea of relaxing. But it'll be worth it.
Lent Mom my Yehuda Amichai book, thought it would be interesting reading for her.
